#40 Wine Press from Label Peelers:
In this video, I explain why I upgraded from number 25 Wine Presses to a much larger, Italian made, size 40 basket press. This press will handle 18.5 gallons at a time which works out to about 500lbs of grape must per press. If you are making larger batches of wine, it will eventually make sense to size up to a large press like this. The larger wine presses have a few features that the smaller presses do not have. Because they are very heavy, I custom made a dolly to mount the wine press to and roll it around on wheels. If you have any tips about using a wine press like this, please mention in the comments!
