This classic Italian bread is my absolute favorite. It’s so easy and versatile!

INGREDIENTS
Dough:
4 3⁄4 cups of flour (unpacked)
2 cups of warm water
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of active-dry yeast
1 1⁄2 tsp of oil for oiling the pan
Topping:
1 1⁄2 tbsp of oil
sea salt flakes
thyme (chopped)
DIRECTIONS
Mix the ingredients in a bowl until they become a smooth soft dough. Cover the bowl and place at room temperature for an hour in order to raise the dough.
