Izway wines was conceived on a handshake between two Aussie winemakers in a chateau in Beaujolais. Brian Conway and Craig Isbel met during vintage at Chateau de Bluizard in 2002, and after many nights drinking pastis, they decided to start their own winery in the Barossa Valley.
With this young insert on the old world winemaking style, Izway brings a whole new experience with edge varieties not usually used in the Barossa region. Their wines have a lot of team background references and take the Barossa market to another level mixing “old-school” technics with this young edge breathe, making the wines pretty approachable for the newest wine appreciator or the more knowledgeable customer profile.
