Buongiorno! Today, we are paying homage to ingredients that are synonymous to Italian cooking and to the OG of all Toasts, the Bruschetta.
Just a disclaimer, I am not trying to reinvent the wheel, having lived in Italy, I am very traditional when it comes to Italian cooking…I do not and will not fix what is not broken. hehehe. The beauty about Italian cooking lies in its simplicity, focus on fresh ingredients and love for the process of making a dish (case in point the passata, pesto and fresh pasta) (which I will make too)
I hope you all like the cinematic presentation of my Italian Toast. It is very simple, packs flavor and it is visually appealing. Looking at it now, this is something that you can make for Christmas Morning as the colors says it all.
