The bike I ride, channel sponsor, pretty cool people:
Mildly ironic Reasonably Dangerous cycling shirts:
Once you get into the upper echelons of steel and aluminum bikes, you’re looking at bikes that are probably constructed out of tubings from one of two brands: Columbus tubing from Italy or Reynolds tubing from the UK. These two tubing giants are huge competitors of each other from entry level generic tubing all the way up to boutique tubing with shiny stickers that give you the most fixie points. But there’s also a couple other tubing manufacturers that are much smaller scale compared to the venerable Reynolds and Columbus tubesets that are arguably just as high quality but unfortunately don’t give you as many fixie points because people aren’t as familiar with them, one of those tube makers being Dedacciai. Deda is mostly known for producing road and track components: stems, seatposts, handlebars, that sort of thing, but did you know they also still produce high quality tubesets in Italy. Not only are they a respectable Italian tubeset maker, for instance, the legendary EAI Bareknuckle was made out of Dedacciai tubing, they still tap into their rich Italian cycling heritage to produce not just the raw ingredients, but also the frames themselves, one of them being the Dedacciai Strada Supertrack.
Let’s take a closer look at how special of a bike Deda can produce when making everything from the tubes to the frameset to the components in this bike check of Gi-Woong Jung’s Dedacciai Strada Supertrack from South Korea, as I explain the importance of this bike with food.

How to have your fixed gear featured:
1. Email me your extensive parts list: iam@zachgallardo.com with BIKE CHECK in subject line. Include your Instagram handle if you want to be tagged.
2. Tell me your bike’s story. Bikes with cool stories are more likely to have bike checks made than bling but boring bikes without a story.
3. Send me your 1080p or 4k video files via Google Drive or Dropbox. Video files must be:
1) 10-15 seconds long each
2) have as little camera movement as possible (little camera shake, no pans/zooms, be horizontal DUH!)
3) 20-25 different shots with 3 shots of your complete bike is a good amount.
4. Keep in mind I’ll run ads on the video to help cover the cost of producing the bike checks. Gotta stay fed.
5. Follow this carefully. Bike checks either get made the right way or not at all.
