This issue from the series “Italy’s food and wine culture” is dedicated to the Tortellini and Lambrusco. The colorful motive of the 5 euro coin in uncirculated quality shows a selection of typical elements from the food and wine culture of the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy. Featured are two tortellini pasta, a glass of Lambrusco, a rolling pin, a piece of Parmesan cheese with a special small knife, an egg, and a plate inspired by faience ceramic. Also included in the design is the arc-shaped inscription “SAPORI D’ITALIA”, the year of issue “2021” and the denomination “5 EURO”. The reverse of the coin depicts a bottle of Lambrusco, the towers of Garisenda and Asinelli and a rooster. Engraved on the edge of the euro coin is the stained-glass window of the Modena Cathedral. The 5 Euro coin from Italy is delivered in a blistercard.
