Sono Angelo Kostandini dalla Chianti Restorations, azienda leader nel campo del restauro di proprietà di lusso in Italia. Oggi sono qua perché voglio raccontarvi alcuni degli step più importanti per la perfetta realizzazione a regola d’arte delle nostre opere.
La prima volta che siamo entrati all’interno di questo cantiere abbiamo organizzato la logistica tra i 13 edifici che lo compongono, distanti l’uno dall’altro circa 3 km. Si tratta di un cantiere esteso, molto vasto. In un cantiere come questo è fondamentale analizzare e programmare ogni singolo spostamento. La seconda fase è la fase di ricerca: quando entriamo in questi edifici storici, siamo davanti ad una ricchezza sconfinata di materie prime e di manufatti. Stiamo parlando di manufatti in pietra secolare, pavimenti in cotto fatto a mano, pavimenti in pietra, pavimenti in legno e essenze lignee.
Questa è una delle nostre caratteristiche più importanti, noi lavoriamo e vogliamo recuperare queste materie prime e questi materiali in modo da poterli far continuare a vivere.
Dopo averli selezionati ed accuratamente recuperati, prepariamo una mostra per i nostri clienti i quali possono guardarli, toccarli e sognare dove riutilizzarli.
Ovviamente ci sono dei manufatti che non possono essere spostati ed è lì che noi andiamo a proteggerli con tecniche antiche.
All’interno del nostro team ci sono i migliori restauratori, accreditati dalla Soprintendenza e dalle Belle Arti.
In questo cantiere per esempio siamo intervenuti nel recupero e nel restauro degli archi in pietra serena della Limonaia.
Nei nostri cantieri fin dall’inizio tutto deve essere perfetto e programmato, questo è l’unico modo per ottenere un risultato incredibile.

Welcome in our construction site in the heart of Tuscany near Florence!
I am Angelo Kostandini from Chianti Restorations, Leader Company in the restoration of Luxury Property in Italy. Today I’m here to tell you about some of the most important step for the perfect realization of our works.
The first time we entered this construction site we planned the logistics between the 13 buildings that it comprises, which are roughly 3 kilometers apart from each other. We are talking about a very vast and ample site. In building sites such as this one, it is very important to analyze and program every single movement. The second phase is the research phase: when we enter these construction site we are faced with an immense wealth of raw materials and artifacts. We are talking about secular stone artifacts, handmade terracotta floors, stone floors, wood floors and wooden essences.
This is one of our most important characteristics: we work and therefore we do our best to recover these raw materials and components in order to allow them to keep on living.
Of course some of these artifacts cannot be moved and is there that we protect them with ancient techniques.
In our team we have some of the very best art conservators and restorers, accredited by the Italian Superintendence and Authority for Belle Arti.
In this site, for example, we have worked in the recovery and renovation of the stone arches of the Limonaia.
In our building sites everything must be perfect and programmed from the very start: this is the only way to achieve an incredible result.
