Tuscany (Italy) is probably one of the best known wine-making regions in Europe. It is famous for its red wines, especially Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Super Tuscans. Although a wide range of grapes is grown in Tuscany, it’s principal grape variety is Sangiovese.
