Subhash Arora is an engineer from IIT Delhi with an MS and MBA from the US. He has been promoting wine culture in India for 30 years. He is a Wine Messiah, journalist, wine educator, author, international speaker and a wine judge with 65 international competitions under his belt. He is widely travelled overseas and visits Indian wineries regularly too.He founded Delhi Wine Club in 2002 and organised 300 events till 2020. He preaches about wine through Indian Wine Academy and the eNewsletter delWine 880 editions of which have been emailed to 33,000 subscribers in 71 countries. He was awarded the rank of ‘Cavaliere’ by the President of Italy in 2009 for promoting Italian wine culture. He is the recipient of ‘Medal of Merit’ from OIV- the UN type of organisation based in Paris.
