In the last week of Summer/first week of Fall, we arrived in the Aosta Valley to enjoy an agritourismo and some walking in the mountains surrounding the valley. We enjoyed some delicious cuisine and several nice walks – albeit at lower altitudes than originally planned. The vines and apple trees were being harvested, and we enjoyed the architecture, which is a blend of the Franco and Italian mountain style with colorful terracotta walls and slate roofs.
