White pasta is basically an Italian dish cooked in white sauce, tossed with some veggies, cheese and herbs….
METHOD :-
BOILING PASTA-
In one litre water add salt and oil….once the water comes to a boil….add the penne pasta,mix well…. pasta should be 80 % cooked… drain off excess water…. pour cold water to stop over cooking of pasta… keep aside
VEGGIES-
heat 2tbsp oil in a wok add 8-9crushed garlic saute for few secs on medium flame now add the diced veggies (of ur choice) saute for a min or 2…..Do not over cook the veggies remove it and keep
aside….
PREPARING THE SAUCE-
add 2 tbsp of butter in a pan keep the flame on low once the butter melts add all purpose flour (TIP-the quantity of butter and maida should be equal) cook till the rawness of maida is completely gone.. add 2 cups if milk gradually stir continously till no lumps r formed …. the sauce vil get thicker and thicker now add fresh cream, oregano, red chilli, salt, black pepper powder, cheese.. mix well cook the sauce till it reaches the required consistency…
IDEAL CONSISTENCY IS REACHED WHEN THE SAUCE COATS THE SPOON
LAST STEP-
add the veggies and boiled pasta in the sauce mix well pasta is ready SERVE HOT
