The RideWithTheKnights crew made it to Italy.
This year it is Josh and Kobee along with parents Mike and Jennie attending the ISDE where Josh will be participating in his 5th ISDE as a member of Team USA. We went to Italy back in 2013 as well but it was on the island of Sardegna. This time we’re in Northern Italy about an hour south of Milan. It’s super awesome here!
We’ve spent Monday and Tuesday walking Special Tests and so far we’ve been super impressed with the quality and diversity of tests. The paddock area is in the flat area of the valley and then all the tests run to the south up into the green rolling hills and small mountains.
All of them require driving through small Italian villages to get there and the architecture here is just awesome. We’ve been loving seeing all the old buildings and wondering about their history.
We’ve walked 6 different tests and some are very traditional ISDE style grass tracks while others are really cool “Cross Tests”.
Tomorrow will be bike prep day. Josh should be obtaining his 2022 Sherco 450 from the Sherco factory.
