Ingredients for 3 persons:
1 can of polpa (fine cut Italian tomatoes), 400 ml
300 g of quality penne pasta from Italy
1/2 red onion
1 garlic piece
plenty of basil leaves
2 sage leaves
olive oil
salt
sugar
fresh chili

This is a very simple and basic recipe for pasta in a spicy tomato sugo, also known as „all’arrabbiata“ (translated: angry style). The impact of the various chilis (in this case my home grown black chilis from the summer season) will be the dominating taste of this dish – together with quality tomato polpa. The dish is very easy to prepare, it only takes some more time to cook the sugo on low flame (about 1 hour). Anyone who follows this video recipe will be able to re-cook this dish – even with very basic cooking skills.
