“Campo del Drago” is made with grapes coming from the finest vineyard in the Capanna area, a hectare and a half at the highest elevation. Superbly-structured and with a distinctive personality, it is the most refined expression of Sangiovese produced at Castiglion del Bosco

“Campo del Drago” is a Brunello di Montalcino DOCG made, of course, with Sangiovese 100%.
In the soil we have presence of clay shale and gravel-pebble and elevation is 450 metres a.s.l.
The training system is Guyot, vineyard density 4,500 vines/ha
and vineyard yield: 40 q/ha
Vinification: 20-25 days in steel tanks, at a temperature of 28°C.
Maturation: 24 months in French oak.
