One of the things I’ve learned over the years is how to improvise and substitute different ingredients to make similar or like recipes. Honestly, I think it’s made me a better cook. Once of the best ways to practice this concept is to use the left overs in your pantry, cupboards and refrigerator to make a dish that has “like” ingredients. Sometimes I really surprise myself and others, well, let’s just say it could’ve turned out better or at least I wish it had.
For this recipe, I combined leftover beef brisket and leftover French onion soup with a few other ingredients to make Beef Marsala over spaghetti. It isn’t “exactly” the way I’d normally make a Marsala sauce but it sure turned out great. Below are the recipes I used to come up with this entree.
