Chicken marsala is an Italian-American dish of chicken escalopes in a Marsala wine sauce.This classic Italian-American chicken recipe is a pan-fried chicken cutlets, browned mushrooms, and a richly seasoned with heavy cream and Marsala wine. Very good with Naan bread or you can pair it with rice.
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Salt and ground black pepper
2 tablespoon avocado oil or any cooking oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
baby bella or button mushrooms
1 chopped shallots
1 tbs minced garlic
3/4 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup dry Marsala wine
3/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons chopped fresh Italian parsley
1 sprig of fresh thyme
