Chicken Marsala is super rich, tasty and one of our favorite comfort foods. The chicken breasts are first being browned and subsequently placed in a gravy made from Marsala wine.

It is said to be created by Italian emigrants in the USA. We are grateful they did, for we don’t want to miss Chicken Marsala anymore. Enjoy the recipe!

INGREDIENTS:
– chicken breast [1 lb / 450 g]
– brown button mushrooms [7 oz / 200 g]
– chicken broth [3/4 cup / 180 ml]
– Marsala wine [3/4 cup / 180 ml]
– olive oil [4 tbsp / 60 ml]
– unsalted butter [2 tbsp / 30 g]
– all purpose flour [1/2 cup / 60 g]
– 2 garlic cloves
– a handful of Italian parsley

Servings: 2-3
