The Chianti candleholder used to be a staple in many Italian restaurants and Italian households. My own family had a Chianti wine bottle candle holder growing up. These candles are made of empty Chianti wine bottles wrapped in straw, with a tapered candle inserted into the wine bottle. Tag along with me as I buy all the ingredients needed to make this candle, and as I start my very own Chianti candleholder. The wax will drip down over the bottle in many directions and various color candles can be used.
