Pound cake recipe:
2 sticks butter, softened
2 1/2 cups of sugar
6 egg yolks
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 8oz container sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-2 tsp lemon extract or juice of 1/2 lemon
Meringue:
6 egg whites
1/2 cup of sugar
Lemon Pound Cake Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1-2 tsp lemon extract or juice of 1/2 lemon
Follow the video for instructions on how to make the pound cake.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
