After leaving Lake Village, several Italians founded Tontitown, Arkansas and returned to their roots growing and selling grapes. The high elevation was reminiscent of their home back in Italy and perfectly suited for such an endeavor. The heritage & tradition is continued today by Heather Ranalli-Peachee and her family when the opened the Tontitown Winery several years ago. Her family are also the last commercial grape growers in Tontitown.
