Hey guys! Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my video! I’m sharing my DIY process I did for stripping my painted dining / kitchen table to get it back to its original wood. This isn’t particularly a tutorial, but rather just a walk through of my process as well as what I learned along the way!
My kitchen table was purchased secondhand and I chose to paint it black and white many years ago. I still liked the painted look, but the finish was starting to wear off of the top and I really wanted to bring some more wood back into my home decor. This was my first time ever stripping paint from furniture! It is TEDIOUS work to strip paint! So in the video I share the entire process – which includes removing the table legs, putting on the paint stripper, scraping, cleaning, sanding, and then spray painting the legs.
