How to make Italian Focaccia Bread with Rosemary
This is a very easy recipe for Italian Focaccia. You can use as topping rosemary & sea salt, cherry tomatoes, stracchino cheese, anchovy (my fav) or fresh spring onion.
Ingredients:
500g flour
1 tbsp. sea salt
25g. fresh yeast (7g dry yeast)
2 tsp. honey
300 ml. warm water
40 ml. extra virgin olive oil
Topping
5 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
5 tbsp. water
rosemary
sea salt
*extra olive oil for the baking tray

Instructions:
1. Mix the flour and the sea salt in a bowl
2. Mix the yeast with honey and warm water and extra virgin olive oil in a separate bowl
3. Mix the liquids with the flour and knead until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
4. Let rising in a warm place for 1 hour.
5. Place the dough in a greased tray and let rising for another 15 minutes.
6. With your finger press small holes into the dough.
7. Mix 5 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil with 5 tbsp. of water and over the holes.
8. Add sea salt, rosemary or any other topping you wish.
9. Bake for 17 mins. in the preheated oven at 220 °C
