From La Union Sandy crosses over to Ilocos Sur. The action begins right away with freshly fried chichacorn and Sandy can’t get enough of this favorite Ilocano snack.
Then he is off to the famous Bistro Candon for his first full Ilocano lunch of Sinanglaw, Bagnet, Igado and Poqui Poqui prepared by the talented yet humble Chef Nic Rodriguez. He drives into Vigan right as the sun is about to set and is welcomed by the sight of the breathtaking centuries old Calle Crisologo. Here is enjoys smoked bbq and craft beer at Calle Brewery. The day isn’t over yet, Sandy calls it a night with local radio personality Dra. Panching over Bagnet and Vigan Longganisa Pizza at Safari Hotel and Resort.
