When the kids aren’t with you, it’s time for pool drinks. And well, the kids weren’t with us, so, as they say: “Salud!” We met up with @Chubby And Away at the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun and we did what every self-respecting person does at an all-inclusive: we ate and drank to our fill and then some.
The Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun has a HUGE resort pool with a couple swim-up bars, poolside service for beverages and lunch, and what can we say? It’s just a wonderful way to chill out and enjoy adult time.
Just as a total side note, we actually found ourselves hanging out in the section of the pool where the families and kids were playing. Whether habit or whatever, it was such a family friendly resort. We loved watching the kids play. But we loved that we had no responsibilities even more! It was the best of both worlds, really.
Also, the Nuun we talked about: Seriously… it’s a game changer for travel. Take a Yeti water bottle (empty) with you through security and then make your drink when you get to a water fountain. Helps with jet-lag so much. Plus if you add ice, it’ll stay super cold for your entire flight, no matter how long.
