It’s Crumpet’s birthday so we have decided to make dog friendly lasagna for her and Butter. I had to do some research on the ingredients to replace the those in the human version of lasagna that the dogs cannot eat.
Below is the recipe (from my memory). Please enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
– Lasagna sheets
– Ground beef
– Red bell peppers
– Cauliflower
– Mozzarella cheese
– Italian seasoning (no salt)

HOW TO COOK:
– Roast red bell peppers in the oven (190 Celsius degrees, 20 minutes)
– Prep cauliflower in a food processor, blend it into crumbs. Steam the crumbs over a pot of water
– Cook the pasta sheets
– Cook the ground beef in a sauce pan, sprinkle with unsalted Italian seasoning
– Take the roasted red bell peppers out of the oven, peel of the charred skin, blend into a thick sauce in the blender
– Once the cauliflower is steamed, place in a cloth, squeeze out the water, let it dry and mix with some mozzarella cubes
– Assemble the lasagna in a baking dish, top it up with shredded mozzarella and cook in the oven (190 Celsius degrees, 20 minutes). Cover the lasagna with foil after 10 minutes to prevent burning
– Enjoy!
