What could make sparkling wine even more cool and unique?
A sparkling RED wine!
This week we review Lambrusco. From the region of Emilia-Romagna in Italy, this sparkling wine made from the red wine grape Lambrusco has improved in quality over the last few decades. If you had Lambrusco in the 1970s, 80s or 90s, you may have understandably dismissed it as a cheap uninteresting wine.
The Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro Secco ‘Pietrascura’ is a fun, refreshing dry red wine made in the Charmat or tank method of sparkling wines – the same as Prosecco.
