On October 26, 2019, the Westchester County Federation of Women’s Clubs had their annual convention at Mardino’s Italian Restaurant in Mount Kisco, NY.
It was a joyful celebration that included a birthday of one of the members, and a speech by a woman who was one of this year’s recipients of the scholarships that the WCFWC gives annually.
(These scholarships have been awarded continuously every year since the 1950s to help young women complete their education at Westchester Community College. In fact, the WCC Foundation was initially created to help manage the WCFWC scholarship donations.)
