Ingredients:
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
garlic, minced – 1 tbsp
Mushrooms, chopped – 2 cups
All purpose flour – 1 tbsp
Milk – 2 cups
Fresh parsley, finely chopped – 1 tbsp
Bread slices – as required
Extra virgin olive oil – as required to toast bread
Instructions:
1. Add garlic with olive oil in a pan and saute on low flame for 1 minute.
2. Add mushrooms and cook till all water oozed out by mushrooms dries up.
3. Add flour and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
4. Add 1 cup milk and cook till it dries up and then add another cup of milk. Add parsley and mix.
5. Add salt, chili flakes and black pepper and cook till sauce thickens.
6. Apply extra virgin olive oil to all bread slices on both sides and bake in oven till crisp.
7. Top with mushroom sauce and serve.
