Government pandemic restrictions in England were about to be relaxed. The rule banning the serving of meals inside restaurants was about to be axed, putting an end to having to eat restaurant meals outdoors. So it was time to get on our coats and order dinner in the marquee in the car park of Oli and Joe’s Italian restaurant in Sunniside.
