The Giannitessari winery, located in Ronca in the middle of the Alpone Valley east of Verona, is run by Gianni, his wife Anna Maria and their daughters Valeria and Alice. Gianni Tessari has been behind a string of internationally acclaimed and award-winning wines since the 1980s, and based on his vineyard; he has taken his journey as a winemaker to a new level since 2013.
Gianni’s wines reaped awards, medals, points and appreciative roses from near and far. A good example is that 14 times his wines have achieved the maximum three glasses in the Italian wine guide, Gambero Rosso.
Tre terroirs – in passion. This is how Giannitessari describes herself. They make serious Soave on volcanic soil, balanced red wines from clay soils in the Berici hills and the sparkling and elegant Monti Lessini Durello.
