For chicken marination
Ingredients
โ boneless chicken thigh – 1 kg
โ Tikka sauce (motherโs recipe) 2 tablespoon
โ Salt to taste (lesser)
โ Red chilli powder to taste
โ Coriander powder- 2 tablespoon
โ Ginger garlic paste – 2 heaps tablespoon
โ Garam masala – 1 teaspoon
Method
โ in a bowl add the sliced chicken thighs
โ Add tikka paste , ginger garlic paste and all the masalas and mix well
โ Marinate it for an hour or more
To make chicken tikka
Ingredients
โ onion – finely chopped -4 medium
โ Tomato (500 gms)
โ Capsicum – 2 medium chopped
โ Fresh Cream 100ml
โ Oil – 2 tablespoons
โ Cumin seeds
โ Salt to taste
โ Coriander powder to taste
โ Red chilli powder to taste
โ Turmeric – 1/4 teaspoon
Method
โ in a pan heat some oil
โ Once hot add cumin seeds
โ Add chopped onions
โ Cook them till golden brown
โ Add purรฉed tomato
โ Cook it till oil separates
โ Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt to taste
โ Add marinated chicken and cook on slow flame for 5-6 mins
โ Add capsicum cover and cook on slow flame until chicken in soft and cooked
โ Add cream slowly on high flame
โ Keep aside
To assemble lasagne
Ingredients
โ Lasagne sheets – 1 pack
โ White sauce – 4-5 table spoon or as per taste
โ Fresh coriander – chopped
โ Ginger- chopped in julienne
โ Grated cheese as per taste
โ Butter to grease the tray
Method
โ Grease a large baking tray with butter
โ Spread slices of lasagne sheets at the bottom of the tray
โ Add a layer of chicken tikka gravy
โ Add some white sauce
โ Add ginger and cheese
โ Add fresh coriander
โ Add another layer of lasagne sheet
โ Repeat the layering process 2 more times
โ Tip- we add more cheese to the last layer to help browning at the top
โ Cover the tray with a foil
โ Put it in a 180 degree preheated oven for 10 mins covered
โ Bake for another 5-7 mins uncovered
โ Cut into small slices to serve
