For chicken marination

Ingredients

โƒ boneless chicken thigh – 1 kg
โƒ Tikka sauce (motherโ€™s recipe) 2 tablespoon
โƒ Salt to taste (lesser)
โƒ Red chilli powder to taste
โƒ Coriander powder- 2 tablespoon
โƒ Ginger garlic paste – 2 heaps tablespoon
โƒ Garam masala – 1 teaspoon

Method
โƒ in a bowl add the sliced chicken thighs
โƒ Add tikka paste , ginger garlic paste and all the masalas and mix well
โƒ Marinate it for an hour or more

To make chicken tikka

Ingredients
โƒ onion – finely chopped -4 medium
โƒ Tomato (500 gms)
โƒ Capsicum – 2 medium chopped
โƒ Fresh Cream 100ml
โƒ Oil – 2 tablespoons
โƒ Cumin seeds
โƒ Salt to taste
โƒ Coriander powder to taste
โƒ Red chilli powder to taste
โƒ Turmeric – 1/4 teaspoon

Method
โƒ in a pan heat some oil
โƒ Once hot add cumin seeds
โƒ Add chopped onions
โƒ Cook them till golden brown
โƒ Add purรฉed tomato
โƒ Cook it till oil separates
โƒ Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt to taste
โƒ Add marinated chicken and cook on slow flame for 5-6 mins
โƒ Add capsicum cover and cook on slow flame until chicken in soft and cooked
โƒ Add cream slowly on high flame
โƒ Keep aside

To assemble lasagne

Ingredients
โƒ Lasagne sheets – 1 pack
โƒ White sauce – 4-5 table spoon or as per taste
โƒ Fresh coriander – chopped
โƒ Ginger- chopped in julienne
โƒ Grated cheese as per taste
โƒ Butter to grease the tray

Method
โƒ Grease a large baking tray with butter
โƒ Spread slices of lasagne sheets at the bottom of the tray
โƒ Add a layer of chicken tikka gravy
โƒ Add some white sauce
โƒ Add ginger and cheese
โƒ Add fresh coriander
โƒ Add another layer of lasagne sheet
โƒ Repeat the layering process 2 more times
โƒ Tip- we add more cheese to the last layer to help browning at the top
โƒ Cover the tray with a foil
โƒ Put it in a 180 degree preheated oven for 10 mins covered
โƒ Bake for another 5-7 mins uncovered
โƒ Cut into small slices to serve
