Near Verona, Italy, lies the largest white wine producing region in the country, Soave. Near Valpolicella in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, the predominate grape varietal is Garganega, which producing a delicious, refreshing white wine with white floral aromas, tree fruits, and bright minerality.
In addition to describing the grape and the region we taste a Soave Classico, worth the few dollars more over a basic Soave DOC wine.
