The vineyard here shares the name Campochiarenti with the village it is located in. Both the town and the farm can trace their history back to the turn of the millennium. The first, mind you. In the year 998, the town’s church was completed, which made it mentioned in the papal records of churches.
Owner, winemaker and winemaker Daniele Rosti is very concerned with ensuring sustainable viticulture by being as gentle as possible in the field. All forms of chemical pesticides have been banned since the mid-1990s, and weeds are removed mechanically or manually. Daniele deliberately seeks not to obtain certifications or classifications because he and his family do not want to increase bureaucracy and thus prices.
