A&Z #943 – Randy Santel “Atlas” vs Oshio’s 100oz Wagyu Beef Bulgogi Korean BBQ Challenge at Oshio Korean BBQ in Orlando, Florida near Universal Studios Resort. Katina and I decided to kick off our 2021 food challenge touring in Florida, and our February Florida Tour turned into a February & March Florida Tour!! I attempted lots of food challenges all over the state of Florida. For challenge #24, I traveled to Oshio Korean BBQ located in Orlando, Florida near Universal Studios Resort so I could help kick off their new 100oz Wagyu Beef Bulgogi Korean BBQ Challenge. I had 1 full hour to feast on 100oz of American Wagyu Beef Bulgogi served with an appetizer of Korean Mandu dumplings plus sides of kimchi, potatoes, cucumber salad, and bean sprouts. 50oz was pre-cooked by the amazing chefs at Oshio, and 50oz was to be grilled by me at my table. For dessert, not part of the challenge, I enjoyed some of their signature green tea tiramisu and a glass of Korean strawberry milk. This food challenge was so much fun!! I was trying to win my ~$200 Wagyu Beef Korean BBQ meal free plus the first spot on their Wall of Fame. Thanks to everyone with Oshio Korean BBQ for the amazing food, drinks, and hospitality!! Thanks also to all the wonderful people who came up that evening to meet us that Friday evening!! We appreciate everyone in Orlando and around Florida who supports our efforts!! Oshio’s 100oz Wagyu Beef Bulgogi Korean BBQ Challenge in Orlando, Florida (~$200):
– Oshio Korean BBQ is located in Orlando, Florida minutes away from Universal Orlando Resort.
– They serve up delicious Korean BBQ meats that you can grill yourself at your group’s BBQ table.
– For this challenge, there is a 1 hour time limit to finish 100oz of American Wagyu Beef Bulgogi.
– 50oz can be pre-cooked by Oshio, and the remaining 50oz is cooked yourself at your table.
– The wagyu beef came with sides of kimchi, potatoes, cucumber salad, and soybean sprouts.
– The challenge includes a side of Korean Mandu which are fairly similar to Japanese gyoza.
– The green tea tiramisu I enjoyed for dessert was optional and not part of the actual challenge.
– Winners receive the ~$200 Wagyu Korean BBQ meal free plus a spot on Oshio’s Wall of Fame.
