-1/2 head of Romaine lettuce, chopped
-1 head butter lettuce, chopped
– About 1 cup fresh basil leaves, julienned
-1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
-12 oz cherry tomatoes, halved or quartered
-About 1 cup sliced banana peppers
– 1 can sliced black olives, about 2.25 oz
-About 1 cup pepperoni, julienned
-8 oz fresh mozzarella, balled or cubed
– 1 stale baguette, cubed
-salt and pepper to taste
-1/2 cup olive oil
-1/2 cup red wine vinegar
-2 tbsp Italian seasoning

-Toss together all ingredients except for the baguette and half of the vinegar and oil. Chill.
-When ready to serve, toss in cubed baguette with salad mix and add remaining oil and vinegar. Mix well to coat the bread pieces with the oil and vinegar. Top with fresh black pepper. Serve immediately.

Serves 2 – 4 people.
