This is a beautiful wine made in the Veneto region in Italy. I really like this region of wine, as they are know for some really jammy, and juicy reds, with very smooth tannin structure. How they achieve this, is by raising their grapes under the beautiful Italian sun. This concentrates the sugars, and intensifies the flavor. This unique process is most famous for wine called Amarone della Valpolicella. Amarone’s can go for $50-thousands! This is a great intro to the style of wine for $11.99+tax!
