Thank you to Vini Mano for this question, and a good question deserves (a tasty) answer! I hope this shows a small example of how we really are so lucky in Thailand, the diversity of dining options here is quite large. Bangkok,Thailand might be on the list of “Best Food Cities on Earth,” but out here in the countryside, we are very fortunate still to have a huge list of options for great food as well.
‘Sipolle by Chef Dan’ is a restaurant that had its start in Chiang Mai, and after 5 good years, decided to open a second branch in Khon Kaen. Fun to learn, as these two cities have also been my two “homes” for the past several years as well. Going to have to go check out the original branch up in Chiang Mai the next time that I am craving some authentic fire-flavor thin-crust pizzas!!
The food here is tasty, but the atmosphere can’t be beat! And if you’re like me, and the sound environment matters to you, this restaurant was VERY special indeed :). They have done a great job in presenting something that would give local people here in Thailand a good feeling for what ‘Westerners’ expect when they visit a restaurant. Very cute for me, and I’ve shared this with you obviously by making this video, cute and so interesting to me is how obviously Li has a different perception of restaurants, the purpose of restaurants… yeah!
Im always learning, and Im glad to have you joining right there with me!
Thanks for watching this video, thanks again for all the amazing comments , messages, and emails – I love them! Keep them coming! It is truly a blessing to be able to get to know some of you much better over this past year. Thank you for all the time you take to get in touch! I appreciate it immensely.
Bye for now! See you in Southern Thailand…
