This is considered the 2nd wine of Sassicaia but it is quite different since this wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot.
Sorry I mispronounced the name of the wine..it should be pronounced like Gweed Alberto, not Guild Alberto.
First vintage was in 2000 and the owners wanted to see what could be done with the Merlot grape in Tuscany.
