Roast Pork in cranberry sauce and Japanese Wine

1. Season 1.5 kg pork in salt and pepper. Rest for at least an hour (i had mine overnight $
2. Preheat Saladmaster MP5 @ 200C for about 5 minutes
3. Sear sides of the roast port around 3 minutes each portion to seal in the seasoning.
4. Pour the sauce (mixture of 1 can cranberry sauce, 1 cup of Japanese wine, 1/2 cup Muscovado sugar, 1 tsp italian seasoning, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp ground black pepper, crushed garlic, and chopped onions)
5. Set the timer to 2 hours at 140F.
Your roast pork is now ready. Normally, stove top or oven cooking takes around 6 hours to cook; with Saladmaster MP5 cooking time is drastically reduced from 6 hours to 2 hours.
6. For the side, steam mixed veggies and season it with salt. This complements your roast pork as the flavors don’t overpower each other
