Easy peri peri chicken momo’s
Make this all time restaurant style appetizer at home and enjoy it ! Any time you can crave some !

Making 3 types of momo’s
1 stuffing and 3 types of momo’s
1. STEAMED MOMOS
2. SHALLOW FRY WITH BBQ SAUCE
3. DEEP FRIED

Knead the dough :

All purpose flour 2 cups
Baking soda 1 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Oil 1 tsp
Knead to a stiff dough.

Chicken stuffing :

Chicken boneless 500 GMs
Spring onions chopped 1/2 cup
Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves 1 cup
Green chillies 2 chopped
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Peri peri powder 2 tsp
Soya sauce 1 tsp
Mince nicely and keep aside

Now divide the dough into equal small portions , shape them into balls and roll them out thinly to a circular shape , shape it by using moulds .

Place 1 tsp of filling in a wrapper , Apply water in the edges and bring together the sides to seal the dumplings .

Steaming process :
Pour some water into idli steamer , you can use any steamer and let it come to boil , place the chicken momo’s on top , close it and steam it for 10 to 12 minutes .

Shallow fry with bbq sauce :
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan , place chicken momo’s on it , shallow fry for 2 minutes on both the sides , add 1/2 to 1 cup of water in it , close the lid and cook for 2 minutes , Add 2 tbsp bbq sauce in it and fry this for few minutes .

Deep fried momos

Heat oil in a pan , place the momo’s and deep fry till it becomes golden brown and then serve this with tomato ketchup .

Chicken momos recipe is a delicious and simple momos recipe filled with juicy minced chicken . A street food special found mostly in Darjeeling and Sikkim . You can serve this with chilli garlic sauce .
