How to Make Risotto?
Risotto is a northern Italian rice dish cooked with broth until it reaches a creamy consistency. The broth can be derived from meat, fish, or vegetables. Many types of risotto contain butter, onion, white wine, and parmesan cheese. It is one of the most common ways of cooking rice in Italy
Ingredients:
35 g butter
½ teaspoon olive oil
1 onion
140 g arborio rice
450 ml chicken stock
50 g parmesan cheese
4 teaspoon pesto sauce
Liquid oil, as needed
75 g breadcrumbs
7-8 tomato slices (dried)
Ingredients for pesto sauce:
4 garlic cloves
130 g pine nuts
120 g basil leaves
150 g olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Recipe:
Soak the tomatoes in a little boiling water.
Put some butter and olive oil in a pan, grate the onion and fry.
Add the washed rice, saute a little, and then add the chicken stock and let it cook well until the stock is dry. Add water if needed.
Add the parmesan cheese, remove from the heat, and set aside to cool.
In the meantime, prepare the pesto sauce (end of the recipe) and add it to the mixture.
Lubricate the palm of your hand with some liquid oil. Spread some mixture on the palm of your hand. Put mozzarella cheese and tomatoes in the middle and round.
Roll in breadcrumbs.
Fry and place on a paper towel.
Serve this dish with lettuce based salad.
Directions for pesto sauce:
Put all the ingredients in the food processor and mix thoroughly.
