Remember eating string cheese as a kid? Or maybe you’re like me and still eat them regularly as an adult. Sure you can sit there and enjoy it one strand at a time for nostalgia’s sake… but what if I told you can create a jaw-dropping dish out of them? No not mozzarella sticks… I’m talking about cheese-stuffed Italian sausage with marinara sauce.
This dish by itself is extremely simple. Cooked Italian sausages, string cheese, marinara sauce, and some spices. But because this is Bobby Boyd Living, we’re gonna make our sauce from scratch. If you’re feeling basic, there’s no shame in the jar sauce game. I actually made two versions of this recipe to appease both crowds.
