Best Restaurant Cavite: Mario Mio Italian Restaurant Monteluce Silang. Mario Mio is a farm to table Italian restaurant concept by Mario “Babes” Oreta, the retired President of Alpha Land Corporation and Italian restaurateur partner Chef Paolo Nesi of the L’ Opera group. It was opened in 2017 at the gateway of Babes’s 20 hectare Monteluce residential development in Silang Cavite along the Aguinaldo Highway and we consider it to be one of the best restaurants in the area.

This charming restaurant will reel you in with a facade of yellow
stucco walls and wooden shutters and boasts alfresco dining at their gazebo, a private dining room and cozy indoor seating for 20 with brick walls, a wood fired brick oven and take note that the greens, plump roma tomatoes and herbs are guaranteed freshly picked from Babes’s organic farm just across the street. Thanks to our friend Jose Gutierrez Aboitiz for sharing this restaurant secret with us. From their menu we would highly recommend their Carpaccio di Manzo, Caprese con Pomodoro Salad, Risotto alla Crema di Tartufo, Fettuccine Aragosta, Pizza alla Terra and for dessert a proper Tiramisu made with Mascarpone Cheese.

Mario Mio also has an extensive wine list by the bottle, but you may also order house wine by the glass but even better there is no corkage if you decide to bring your own bottle which we will surely do on our next visit!
