Famously referred to as the most romantic city in the world, Venice has been known by many mysterious and majestic nicknames throughout history: “La Dominante”, “La Serenissima”, “City of Water”, “City of Masks”, “City of Bridges”, and “The Floating City”, to name a handful.

In this video, we explore – with the help of our local Venetian guide, Alvise – how the city of Venice oozes romance around every corner – from things to do, places to see, where to eat and drink, and how to spend a day outside of the city center in some of the most incredibly beautiful (and more unique) surrounding areas in all of Italy.

We also taste two of the Veneto region’s most fantastic wines – a Prosecco and a Suavia. While Veneto wines might not be as commonly drank as those of Tuscany or Piedmont, it is here you will find the delightful Prosecco, Valpolicella, and Amarone, to name a few.
