The International Office at NUIM ran “International Student Photo/Video Competition 2013/2014”.
This winning video in the category “Campus Life” was made by Tobias Meyer, Erasmus student from Hochschule Bremen in Germany.
Tobi’s comment: “Can you imagine Spaghetti Carbonara without cream? No, us neither. So we invited our Italian friend Ester Longo to cook for us. She was shocked that us French and German people don´t know how to cook Carbonara the Italian way: without cream, but with eggs – and a lot of love. It took only a few minutes to cook it, but we had a great evening discussing the international stereotypes and food.”
