Some of my favorite meals are made in one skillet, pot, or pan! This Creamy Tuscan Italian Sausage Pasta is simply fabulous! Pasta cooked in a creamy sauce with the flavor of Italian sausage can’t be beat. This meal is perfect for busy week nights because it comes together quick. Such a great dinner the whole family will enjoy!

Ingredients

1 pound of Italian sausage
4 cups chicken broth
1 14.5 oz. can of fire roasted tomatoes
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 garlic cloves minced
1 onion chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 cups fresh spinach
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried thyme
10 to 12 oz. of Rigatoni (or choose your favorite pasta)
1 Tbsp olive oil
pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions
Add oil to a large skillet and then add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook for a couple of minutes until onion is translucent and tender. Add sausage, spices, salt and pepper. Cook on medium heat until sausage is cooked through. Add chicken broth and tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Then add your pasta, cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until pasta has absorbed liquid. Uncover and stir, then add heavy cream, spinach, and gradually parmesan.
