I show you their vineyards where vines are aged from 10 to 55 years old and I talk with the farmer about the production and visiting an ancient cellar where we tasted an extraordinary Barolo wine.
Is Barolo a good wine?
Barolo is an extraordinary wine, produced in Barolo, a village in Piedmont – northern Italy – a place very fascinating for its views and the quality of local wines.
During my career I had the pleasure of working with many farmers, wine producers, wineries and professional sommeliers. I realized that every wine has one thing in common: to produce Barolo wine there is so much work to do! This is why the Barolo wine is so expensive.

Some people used to ask me: how much does Barolo wine cost?
If you’re asking this question I’ll tell you that a standard Barolo DOCG wine bottle could cost about 40euro/bottle but there are a lot of high-quality bottles on the market at a higher price.
