Experts have long been divided on California’s shifting policies around dining, but so far no significant evidence has shown that outdoor dining is a major factor in coronavirus surges.
But infectious-disease experts are still concerned about the many variables that accompany outdoor dining, all of which affect the safety of each individual scenario.
