JUICY ITALIAN MEATBALL SLIDERS
*cut recipe in half for 12 sliders* makes 24 sliders
Ingredients:
3 slices white bread (crustless and diced small)
1-1/4 pound ground beef 1 pound ground pork or italian sausage
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese. 1 large egg
4-5 garlic cloves (crushed) 2 Tablespoons Parsley (chopped, plus extra for garnish)
1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup onion (finely diced) 1 teaspoon ground italian seasoning
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce 2/3 cup milk
1/2 jar of marinara sauce 24 dinner rolls (the kind that are attached together)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or desired amount)
4 tablespoons melted butter 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon oil for frying

Directions-
In a bowl place bread, milk, worcestershire, salt, pepper, italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, egg, parsley and garlic. Let set 5 minutes, then mash together well.
Add meats and mix together until combined, but do NOT over mix or you will have tough meatballs. Shape into golf ball sized balls gently as to not over work.
Preheat a large frying pan on Medium to medium low heat. Put a small drizzle of oil on the pan and sauté meatballs approx. 3 minutes on all sides until internal temp reaches 160 degrees F. Stir enough marinara onto meatballs to coat lightly.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut out a hole in each roll slightly smaller then meatballs. Bake for 5 minutes.
Mix butter and garlic powder. Brush over rolls after first trip to oven.
Stuff each hole with a meatball, then top with a spoonful of marinara and top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake 12- 15 minutes or until rolls are golden and cheese is melted.
Top with chopped parsley and serve.
