Hey everyone, this is my 10th video of the month of August 2020, I just have time now doing video editing and uploading the works that I made in my sustainable garden and my daily life. We are in the month of January 2021, today is Sunday 24th of January, we still have a lot snow, so lovely sitting near the window and watching the panorama of the mountain covered by snow, while I am doing video editing. In this video, I add some video clips of Winter January 2021.
Summer 2020 August. I continue drying the officinalis herbs in the sun. I am harvesting potatoes, that I sowed along with corn. I am doing maintenance in my garden, by taking off the weeds and making in order. I am preparing my smoothie lunch of courgettes and its flowers, beets leaves, thyme, plum jam that I made, a bit of cinnamon and for the liquid I add organic soya milk, then I garnish with dark chocolate and thyme. I am having my smoothie lunch on my balcony. I am picking up the dried potatoes from the sun and preserve them in my pantry. I am putting the dried officinalis herbs in glass containers and preserve them in my pantry. I continue harvesting officinalis herbs (camomile, mallows, marigold, sage and rosemary). I am eating and harvesting some raspberries and strawberries. I am harvesting flowers of courgettes, courgette, beets, green beans, potatoes and carrots. I am sowing celery and spinach. Lovely sunset. I am preparing my dinner of fried potatoes and tomato salad with basil. I coat the potatoes in the mixture of whole grain flour and bread crumbs, then, I fried them in hot peanut oil. For my tomato and basil salad, I season it with a bit of olive oil extra virgin, organic apple vinegar, Himalayan salt and four seasons pepper.
Winter 2021 January. My 3 chickens (Stella, Luna and Sole) love my kitchen scraps. I use the ashes of my wood stove as fertilizer for my trees. I am preparing my yogurt breakfast of apples, dark chocolate and Chia seeds. I am having my breakfast near the window. I am preparing my sage, mallows and marigold decoction on my thermos. I am preparing my minestrone soup dinner.Ingredients: mixed vegetables from my garden that I froze them, water, olive oil, garlic, onions, salt and pepper. I am having my officinalis herbs decoction, while, I am waiting that my minestrone is half cooked. It is ready half cooked, I blend it in a blender and let it cook till ready to eat. I love my minestrone soup with grated grana or Parmesan cheese. I love cultivating and eating most of my nutrients. I love a simple and quiet life of the mountain.
